Hi, I’m Rob Fisher - Founder & Lead Builder

A 4th-generation carpenter whose love for the craft began when I was 12 years old. My Grandpa had been remodeling our pantry and left his tools out overnight. I stumbled upon them and started playing with them. From that point forward, my love for building has only grown.

Eventually, I started working as a carpenter. I worked for a few different builders where I built up to 15 houses simultaneously. It was during this job that I noticed the mass-production approach to building was not only draining the heart from homes but also the passion I had for my craft.

I grew up surrounded by spaces that my family’s prior generations had put quality time and work into. These spaces were both functional and comfortable to be in, generating countless memories of the time I spent with friends and family. I wanted to do the same for others.

I wanted to breathe life back into the market and show my three sons the same quality of work and service that my Grandpa showed me. Today, I build homes that make memories and generate legacies for the families that fill them.

  • We are based in Madison, Wisconsin, serving Dane County and the surrounding areas.

  • Planning and permitting typically take two to four months. Once ground is broken, the construction process usually takes anywhere from six to twelve months depending on the size and detail of your home.

  • No. However, we are happy to work with your lender or introduce you to one of our lending partners.

  • Yes. A massive part of how a home serves you and your family is how it sits within your lot. We are happy to consult with you on how a potential home site will best bring your goals of a timeless home to life

  • Depending on the scope, size, and level of detail of your home, we can provide a rough range of what the expected cost of construction of your home will be. For detailed estimates, we will enter into a professional services agreement and charge a professional services fee.

  • Due to the highly unique character of each of our projects, we do not have an average cost per square foot.
